My Thoughts

Just wanted to put my thoughts across on a few points, Firstly last night I thought the fans were excellent again and I hope the LCFC players appreciate the noise we were making and the general support, we were far louder than Watford and gave the ref all he deserved “we scored 2 goals without the ref… we scored 2 goals without the ref†De Vries was laughing as he was warming up aswell, so lets keep it up and get right behind the boys!

The game itself, well first half we were shocking and didn’t look very good at all, few chances for Moore (who impressed me with his off the ball play and also generally) and Conners, Watfords goal was Walker getting trigger happy on coming out which cant be blamed on the defense, and then we are denyed a blatent penalty on Connolly and the ref then gave a shocking decision by giving Watford a pen, again this cant be helped! But second half I thought we were excellent, some of Hughes touches etc reminded me of the legend that is Muzzy izzet and Conners was playing excellent, McCarty wa solid and overall everyone played well, Also the minute Dublin was put up front the link u[p with Connolly was much better! Overall I was encouraged by the second half and we actually looked like the team we should, its just a shame we have to always be 1-0 or 2-0 down to put in a good performance!

This season all we need to do is ensure safety and then build for next year, I think we have some excellent players and once they all get used to playing together and we have a proper formation I think we will be back in the prem by the end of next season! I also really hope Gillespie is given a new contract as he is looking better by the game, as soon as he came on he was excellent and looks like he has his confidence back and is showing wat the old Keith Gillespie was like!!

Sorry iv rambled on but I was definelty encouraged by last night and one last thing that referee was FCUKING AWFUL!!!
