Kilworthfox Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 I sat in G1 yesterday. To say it was a poor excuse for a football crowd was an understatement, for someone who finds the lack of commitment from L1 at times frustrating. I too was almost a ZOMBIE, with these people, who 80% (rough estimate I don't do surveys before any clever bugger starts) are not regulars to Filbert Way. I did manage to start 1 song from G yesterday amazing. On here our fans put images of Fenerbache fans and the like and yet I sit among these people and we get quiet or chatter. What would a Fenerbache or any Ultra think of our crowd not just yesterday but almost every match? A joke? A pathetic excuse for an English crowd to behave at their team's home matches where passion is ment to run high. From G I got to see the Kop in full flow! The entire top 3 rows I guess again tried in vain to awaken the flask brigade. How ever well you support your side you must stop ignoring some obvious events which happen every week. If you sit in the top 3 rows you must notice that 99% of people below you do not sing, they do not join in with you I had a perfect view of this yesterday, it was a terrible sight. I am not having a go at the people at the top of the Kop, I have been there and felt the same frustrations as you do every game. You guys have to ditch these non vocal supporters if you wish to create a good atmosphere! I am speaking to you guys who most I know to move over to L1 next year, I know why as I have stood at the back of the kop and N and L1. I will give you the reasons for doing so: 1) The concentration of people who stand & sing is far better in L1 to where you currently sit. 2) If you start a song people below will join in with you. 3) There are no flask brigade there. 4) The variation of songs is far better in L1 You sang 5 songs repeatedly yesterday 5) You are wasting your efforts, as the silent majority is ruining your efforts to create atmosphere. 6) In L1 you get banter with the away fans which leads to great fun and chants 7) In L1 it is not full of this majority of idiots that it is portrayed to have in it, yes some are in there but us normals ignore them 8) L1 needs more of the likes of you 9) L1 would be really, really good if they had the guys and girls who are so passionate that they wish to sing for their side in it. 10) It would feel like an away game with a large concentration of vocal support 11) It would be as close as we could come to recreating the Kop at Filbert way. 12) I would love to stand and sing with you guys at home as well as away! 13) There will be seats at the top available next year, there are 2 next to me! Flynny Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 No the West Stands louder I win. I didn't delete this because although the discussions not something I want, I don't want his message not to be seen. With that in mind I'll stick this for a day or so so it doesn't slide down the page.
