Moreton Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 At the start of the season if somebody said to you "I'll tell you the results of three games Leicester City would play this season." " They will beat Watford 4-1, West Brom 4-1, and Norwich 4-0, Oh and yes you will give Chelsea a good run for their money" Would we be that amazed?..Apart from the Chelsea game obviously..The optimisum levels at the start of the season were sky high, with a new owner, money, manager and players, all of which were very ambitious in taking the club forward. Those results were the kind of thing most were expecting so we would all just be thinking " We are going up i said we are going up!" But unfortunately they were all just lucky one of games that brought hope to the next match, then we see the opposite of what we saw the week before. None of us would have ever expected us to be in a relegation dog fight, not after hearing what that guy told us. Not in a milion years.

Funny thing is, I think we have a vastly better squad now, than we did at the start of the season!

Moreton Posted 29 March 2008 Author Posted 29 March 2008 Cosmic. Indeed. I am a little out of my face.
Uncle Albert Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Indeed. I am a little out of my face I was being sarcastic.
Cal Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Also if someone said we'd have Clemence, Hendrie and Oakley in our midfield!
Scow Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 We're so good, we're 19th, yeah. Come on. We're superior to these **** league 1 bastards, cos we're brilliant. League 1 it is then.
Thracian Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 Also if someone said we'd have Clemence, Hendrie and Oakley in our midfield! I'd have been pleased but having watched the reality I'd far sooner have Weso, Hendrie and King/Oakley.
