Intent on cheating their way to victory, footballers are worth nothing. We saw today a Stoke player dive in the box as though he had been shot by a sniper in some vain efffort to gain his team a penalty The ref saw it for what it was worth and did nothing about it. We are a poor team in what was probably the most competitive Championship season in years and deserve to go down. Let's hope that we can gain some credense and pride next year and come back up, though I seriously doubt this can happen as Milan will throw money at this issue as he threw money at it this year. Use the accademy and instill some pride back into this club. Get rid of the free loaders that have appeared and use the local talent (get O'Grady back for a start). I couldn't get a ticket for todays game and was in my local sports club and had to ask who Worley was. Never heard of him mentioned as a first eleven player and yet here he was in the stating line up of the most important game of the season. Unbelievable!! I will be there next season. Just as soon as I recieve info from the club as to how much my seat will cost then I will pay the money. But how many players will turn up to right the wrongs of this season remains to be answered.
Corky Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 To be honest with you I thought Worley did alright, put himself about, more than can be said for Oakley. Only the players will know if they care or not, I believe they don't.
