Scow Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 At least next season we'll have supporters who care about the club - we're at our lowest ebb and you have so called 'fans' giving up on us. I say fu ck off to em. We support this club through thick and thin, and if you can't take a knock back, then what the fu ck are you doing supporting us? Who knows what will happen to us - but I know and many other genuine Leicester fans will be there to support us come the first game of the season. We may be a well-known club, we may have a great stadium, facilities and set-up - that means sod all if you can't get it right on the pitch. We've been fighting relegation for five years and it's finally caught up with us. We're not too big or too good to go down - and those who have maintained that will finally have a wake up call. So what if we have a few scummy Cov, Plymuff, Saints fans on here - it hurts now, but it's our club and I wouldn't swap places with any of em. I love this club, and though it's been a real low today, let's hope we can recover and come back stronger - and we need our supporters more than ever.
LeicesterDon Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Morning Leicester City fans, MK Dons supporter here in peace! Commiserations on being relegated yesterday, I for one think you lot have been through alot of shit this season and stuck by your team and have to place the blame on Milan Manderic for his shameful dealings with managers. Living in Leicester, I know how much the club means to you lot and I watched the game today and saw how distraught you all were. Its rebuilding for next season now, with finances you should be challenging for automatic promotion, however there are a few bankrolled teams in League 1, us to name but one! It'll be interesting being sat in the away end at the Walkers and you'll be very much welcomed down at stadium:mk! Below is the teams definately in League 1 next season plus possibles... work from them who you think could be potential rivals to the League 1 title. Commiserations again and good luck next season! League 1 next season... definates; Brighton and Hove Albion Bristol Rovers Cheltenham Town Colchester United Crewe Alexandra Hereford United Hartlepool United Huddersfield Town Leicester City Leyton Orient Millwall Milton Keynes Dons Northampton Town Oldham Athletic Peterborough United S****horpe United Swindon Town Tranmere Rovers Walsall Yeovil Town and 3 from... Carlisle United Doncaster Rovers Leeds United Southend United plus 1 from... Darlington Rochdale Stockport County Wycombe Wanderers

LeicesterDon Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 BRING THEM ON!!!!!!!!!!! CUM ON CITY WE HAVE GOT TO WIN THIS LEAGUE JUST LOOK AT THE SHIT IN IT BLUE ARMY xxxxxxxxxx To be honest you're quite right, both you, us (MK Dons) plus the likes of Peterborough United and Leeds if they don't go up, should set the stalls out for automatic promotion. The first three, Leicester, MK and P'boro have the finances to get in the best players and the most experienced however League 1 is notoriously a hard league to get out of!
Shrenchel Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I know what you mean, but at the end of the day is it really a bonus?! Part-time post MON era fans sat in the west stand clapping occassionally and chatting throughout don't exactly add to the atmosphere but neither do blue seats, and blue seats don't pay 25 quid to get in. @ LeicesterDon. Your football club shouldn't exist xxx

MK dons for automotic promotion . Arn't you forgetting Colchester or S****horpe? You have only just been promoted from League 2 mate, things might have been all rosey there but expect tougher times next season.

Your football club shouldn't exist xxx Shrenchel, I get that all the time and its football politics, i'm not here to start an arguement or discuss the formation of two clubs from Wimbledon FC! We believe in MK that promotion is not out of our reach and to be honest I believe you and Peterborough are our main rivals! You will be (if Leeds are promoted) the cup final for every team, certainly it'll be the first fixture i look for on the 16th of June! Its gutting I know...i've experienced relegation, however it may be a blessing in disguise. We got relegated from League One in 2005/2006 and the club turned around...we go up this season with high hopes of a back to back promotion! I don't see why you can't make the quick turnaround in League One

Benjani matey, we've got a strong side...we demolished the league this year, the chairman is giving Ince a 'warchest' to spend during the summer, we managed to beat the League One Champions on thier patch in the JPT, we also beat Ipswich on penalties and narrowly lost to Sheffield United in extra time. We've proven to alot of teams we're good enough for League 1, with money and experience and Ince's contacts, plus the fluent football and our amazing away record...i don't see why we can't be challenging for promotion!

But... we got relegated. Very good point. Money talks in the lower leagues... the facts have proven it, League 1 -------------------- C - Swansea (22,000 seater stadium with large fan base... high attendance) P - Forest (30,000 seater stadium with large fan base... high attendance) 3 - Doncaster (new multi million pound stadium...) 4 - Carlisle 5 - Leeds (averaging over 30,000 per week, larger budget than many) 6 - Southend League 2 C - MK Dons (new 32,000 seater stadium, chairman music entrepreneur...money to spend, highest wage bill in league) P - Peterborough (richest team in division owned by a rich property investor, highest transfer fees in league)

I just can't wait xxx Srenchel...we do and panoramic 360 vision when going to a food outlet so you don't miss a moment of the match when getting your food! plus we have a state of the art pitch! Leicester vs MK Dons, they must televise it...it'll be Champions vs 2nd!
Jordan Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 ... and Leeds if they don't go up ... I don't want any part of Leeds next season. I think Leicester are the only ones of the three relegated teams that can bounce straight back. If Leeds don't go up this season, they will next and I'll like Leicester's chances much more if they're fighting for one of three promotion spots rather than one of two.
LeicesterDon Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I think Leicester are the only ones of the three relegated teams that can bounce straight back. . I fully agree, League One is a tough league and finances do help! Don't forget when Forest went down...they were never out of the promotion mix and you're arguably a bigger club, you'll have the ability to compete in the transfer window where many of the teams around you wont!

Don't forget when Forest went down...they were never out of the promotion mix and you're arguably a bigger club, you'll have the ability to compete in the transfer window where many of the teams around you wont! We'll be better prepared to answer the transfer window question once Milan Mandaric decides what he's going to do with the club.
LeicesterDon Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 very true, but I wish you all the best of luck! like I've said many times I think we'll both be going for promotion so it'll be an interesting battle! I just hope we both get the promotion spots! Also just to add the JPT isn't that bad...it provided us with a huge boost and the win at Wembley spurred our players on to win the League 2 title!
