morris1234 Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 i know its not exactly a rumour but its a possibility and if you can have a thread about avram then why not. i was just thinking, abramovich is going to want to bring in a BIG name manager already linked with rijkaard and mancini, now surely those srt of managers would want to take some sort of backroom staff with them, i know when avram and jose came in steve was still assistant although there was specualtion at one point that clarke might leave, but i was just curious! what do you think? would you want him here? do you think its a possibilty?

When they get their next foreign manager they'll need him. As for him coming here we don't know how much of Chelsea is down to him and I doubt he's got a clue about life in the 3rd Division, so for me it's a no as the negatives outweigh the positives.

As for him coming here we don't know how much of Chelsea is down to him and I doubt he's got a clue about life in the 3rd Division, so for me it's a no as the negatives outweigh the positives. i suppose but they have with other managers in the past, look at ince, i mean i know its a bit different but goes from knowhere to keeping up a struggling macclesfield then manages to make the switch and turn mk dons into a good side, so you never know in football, personally i think it would be a bit of a gamble but at the mintue anybody is, nobody wants to come near the club, it seems everything we touch turns crap
