Did anyone go to this today at the NEC?

Stan Collymore had a team in a 6 aside competition which included Matt Elliott, Gary Parker, Jamie Lawrence and Super Stevie Claridge.

Made me think how far the club have dropped in such a short space of time.

Just wish the current crop of players would give half the amount of commitment the above players gave to Leicester City.

The players i watched today still care about the club, more so than most of the current players. Collymore couldn't believe how far the club had dropped.

Cant see a team in 10 years time being entered into similar competitions like this one and the masters with players like McAuley, Clemence, Oakley and Campbell!!! There are no current players that show any sort of commitment to the club as per these older players which is sad to see.

If Leicester are to have a successful season next year, we need to get a few characters into the team, players who will roll their sleeves up and get stuck in, passionate for the cause and will give 110% in every game they play. The above players did all of these hence a successful team. Who can you say out of the current crop give Leicester these qualities?

Got Claridge to sign the photo of his playoff winner celebrations and he said he thought it would be a long time before Leicester are to see similar celebrations again which he was disappointed about.

Elliott still looked the business at the back. A centre half that can pass a ball more than 10 yards.

Parker still has more ability on the ball than Clemence and Oakley put together.

Claridge looked more clinical than any of our strikers did last year.

Yes the main problem with us last season and the main reason weve gone down is lack of effort from the players. It sounds simple but football is a simple game complicated by idiots (think i might be sounding like cloughie there but who cares). This is not the only problem there are plenty of others but your right it is the main reason were down.

My Dad, Manager and Chairman went.

Said it was a good day but was moaning about paying £4.50 for a hot dog :giggle:
