Idle, unfounded speculation is what the internet was made for, alongside porn and fraud. As for strikers, god knows. CL seems to prefer the up-and-coming point-to-prove types, ahead of Adams-style seasoned pros. Apart from MDV, his signings have been off the radar. He has experience in Connolly and MDV - he likes them both and won't get rid of either. He may go for one more younger player, along with Strum. I don't think Wright or O'Grady will make the grade with CL. No idea about Dodds. Maybe another Strum-type unknown they can mould - but no big-bucks signings up front I fear. I think CL will spend what little dosh he has at the back and in midfield.
