An additional stale crumb of comfort is that one or two of the sides between P17 - P22 have to play each other.

From a mathematical perspective it is very unlikely that we will go down. But to be 'relegation possibles' with only five games to go is shameful.

And for a manager to abandon his team and go roamin' in the gloamin' for useless Eustaces in these circumstances quite frankly, Mr Shankly, beggars belief.

What is shameful is that fact that we have a club so deep rooted in the mire that the latest incumbant of the managerial hot-seat is getting the flack for previous holders misdemeanours.

Piss poor administration and a piss poor management team took over after Taylor and were allowed to continue to take this Club further and further into the wilderness. A policy of signing players on reputation rather than current footballing ability has left us in this position.

Clearly Micky you still won't accept the blame for any of this, all the best next season I look forward to your visit to the Walkers.

No Barton Fox you are not going to get away with that crock of horse shit. So our promotion season whilst we were in administration was a 'season in the wilderness' was it?

And our admin and management problems began AFTER Taylor did they?

You are either a wind-up merchant or a care in the community case.

I think a bunch of mercenaries playing for their deferred wages and bonuses had a lot more to do with our promotion than the management team of Cork, Basset and yourself Micky. We bullied our way out of the division and you know it.

Look at our performances in the Premiership and the needless points we threw away right from day one. The inability of the management and administration to rectify those problems sees us where we are now.

You said on another thread that the BoD should take credit for appointing MON and indeed they should but then they employed the 2 worst managers in the history of our Club in succession, so that keeps them right in the firing line in the blame stakes.

Yes Taylor made many mistakes and I hate him for it, but the BoD could have solved that but didn’t then installed Bertie and Micky and well look where we are now.

You are a care in the community case: paranoid psychosis + Alzheimers by the sounds of it.

Bunch of mercenaries huh? I seem to remember that we had to sell £10m worth of players before the promo season and that we couldn't sign any new players whilst we were in admin (including loanees)

As for wage deferrals plus bullying our way out of the division; If that would guarantee us promotion I think that Levein would kill to get it implemented NOW.

And so would we...

So you wasn't saying Micky Adams is the new MON when he took us back up? ;)

There you go agaion Chandler quoting untruths to support you pathetic dislike for CL

CL said when city was safe from relegation he may go and look at players for next season.

And will chandler respond. Of course not he will ignore the truth and continue with his childish attempt to distroy our club.

Care in the community, aye righty oh!

You can't see past yourself Micky can you? Yes Adams was the manager when we went up but it wasn't his team was it? They all played for their wages and bonuses clear as day and if you tink otherwise you are sadly deluded.

As soon as he was able to wheel and deal what did we get? Dad's Army of has-beens and never-quite-were's who had all the discipline of pub team. They couldn't defend a lead and the oh so great MA allowed them to tarnish the name of our Club by his inability to handle his squad, or did you forget that sorry little episode in La Manga?.

Adams under the guidance of Bassett and the football admin reinforced and nurtured the culture of medocrity that is so evident today. We have a bunch of players with no self respect or discipline who will all be shipped out in June never to darken out doors again.

You, Micky, can sign them on at Highfield Road.
