Master Fox Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 My clutch pedal is making some stiff sounds. Seems to be working ok, what could it be? Would a bit of WD40 sort it out?
Bellend Sebastian Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 My clutch pedal is making some stiff sounds. Seems to be working ok, what could it be?Would a bit of WD40 sort it out? Both my last two cars had squeaky clutch pedals when I got them, both rectified by spraying a bit of WD40 onto the mechanism. It can be a bit hard to get to, and you might need to remove a bit of trim to access it. If it's not juddering or anything, it's probably just that

Zingari Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 is the clutch hydraulic or cable operated ? if its a cable it may be possible to get some light grease into it , but it may be better to have a new one fitted as a snapped clutch cable is quite likely to occur if its badly worn and dry
