website update

Hi

making some progress on my real ale site. Just need a little help I've added a games page and one of the links keep going back to a saved game of mine just wondering if it happened to others.

I guess you mean the link is http://www.nightguard-ales.webs.com/ ?

You have a lot of images and this makes each page take too long to load.

The links on the right seem in a strange order, though that may just be preference.

The ads at the top aren't very nice.

I can give you a free site and you can install a blog type software or whatever if you want, or just web hosting and you make what you want with it? (Benefits = no ads )

Which game goes back to your save game? None of them do for me therefore I reckon it is just going back to it because of the cookies saved on your PC. For the game links, as they are external links you could do well for the a href target to be _blank as opposed to _current

Thanks for that. The links on the right are the sites. I can pay a monthly fee and upgrade to remove the ads. The game was the last one. I expect you are right about the cookies. I'll do a cleanup and see what happens. I tried to copy and paste a lbeer list from exel but had problems with a pop up windows saying scripts were slowing the pc down. I am also trying to do a website from scratch and this one was so i'd have an idea what to put on it.
