SussexFox Posted 2 January 2009 Posted 2 January 2009 not sure why so many people were slagging off Pompey earlier in the thread I would say best home atmosphere in England for consistency? Millwall should also surely come higher than 48
Fosse Boy Posted 2 January 2009 Posted 2 January 2009 not sure why so many people were slagging off Pompey earlier in the thread I would say best home atmosphere in England for consistency? Millwall should also surely come higher than 48 I've never been to either ground, but I severely doubt that the likes of Fratton Park compare to the likes of La Bombonera on matchday! Think that's why people were having a go at its position in the list.

Millwall should also surely come higher than 48 THe main gripe bigger clubs have with Pompey and their repuation is that they have a concentrated area of supporters in one of the most acoustic friendly stands in England. I'm sure if there was scientific research into numbers/noise/acoustics or whatever it wouldn't look so good for them.
