BoneDog Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 I've just remembered the great Tommy Boyd show that used to be on Talk Radio about 10 years ago and wondered if anyone used to listen. It was some of the funniest stuff ever but then he just disappeared from the airwaves. He used to not screen the callers like they do nowadays so you got lots of nutters ringing in and pished up folk. He'd just answer the phone and let you crack on live on air with no time delay.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 Yes! I used to listen religiously (put a big white pointy hat on before I switched on the radio). It was bloody funny. Shame about his disappearance from the airwaves. The wrestling bits were crap though.

grth2004 Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 was a great show , i actualy once rang up after going down the pub , cant remember what i was tallking about but i just got cut off after rambling on drunk. didnt he fall out with tallk radio or get the sack i remeber he left under a cloud?

Was a great loss to TalkSport when his show went.
