davieG Posted 30 January 2009 Posted 30 January 2009 Only it isn't! I was sat in a boring meeting at the Motorcycle Museum this morning from 8.30 to 1.55 so missed out on finding out who our new signing was. I rushed out to my car hoping I could receive Radio Leicester, to my surprise I could, I eagerly turned it on waiting for the 'local' sports news to find out who we signed. Ok so it wasn't Kaka and he's only on loan but it didn't even get a mention all they harped on about was Nadal playing Verdasco and some cricket match, both taking place on the otherside of the world and with no link to Leicester that I'm aware of. If I wanted to know about them I would have tune into a national station. Where the hell was the local sports news?
Ultra Posted 30 January 2009 Posted 30 January 2009 That's p!sspoor. Maybe Stringer and Sinclair were off today?..
The Stig Posted 30 January 2009 Posted 30 January 2009 I agree totally. I know a couple of them at Radio Leicester and will mention it to them next time I see any of them.
