ctfcwymans Posted 23 April 2009 Posted 23 April 2009 I don’t have the privileges to post in the main section; maybe someone could move this for me? Anyway I’m a Cheltenham supporter, first of all my congratulations are in order. Well done, fully deserved and definitely the best side we faced in League 1 this season. A friendship was built up during our trip to the walkers and this seems to have continued with some of your supporters making the trip to support us at Peterborough, we returned the favor with a few making the trip to Hereford. I know of 4 other ctfc supporters who will be in the Leicester end tomorrow. Now as you don’t have a game on Saturday and we face Carlisle at home I have a proposal (a couple have already agreed to come). I look after something called the Wymans at Cheltenham, it’s a singing section near the away supporters (in2print stand). We have a bit of banter with away fans and try to get behind our side. I wondered if some of you fancied a day out in Cheltenham, and could join us with the wymans in hope of a better whaddon road atmosphere. There’s not many of us attending atm usually 50-60 due to some very poor results in the season many gave up hope along time ago unfortunately. It really would be great to hear Leicester fans singing the tractor song (we’ll teach you), I also believe a Leicester drum is coming as our big bass split last weekend.. I hope this friendship can continue. If you want to know more about the wymans then I’ll give you a couple facebook links. One to the event for this Saturday again Carlisle and another for the Wymans facebook group, once again, congratulations on a fantastic season and I hope you can make it to Cheltenham this weekend and sing with the wymans (many of which were those doing the conga). http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/event.php?eid=88585481778 http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=12562180626
