RizLCFC Posted 25 May 2009 Posted 25 May 2009 I prefered the Belly Dancer on Britain's got Talent, last night, TBH Agreed mate I'd love to see her at the heart of City's defence!

Ultra Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 His performances at right back were a bonus. He looked much safer there than Hobbs and having an alternative position always increases your value to the manager. To be honest it came as a surprise. He's not the fastest nor an accomplished passer but he looked keen to get forward in support. He was never a let down at centre-back either. He was up against strong competition from Tunchev (til his injury) and Hobbs but I could never understand why he was made to make way for Kisnorbo. He consistently scored 6's, 7's and even a fair number of eights in the player ratings and the defence as a unit maintained a record which suggested those marks were well justified. Hopefully he will continue the good work next season whether he remains first choice or not. Again one of Pearson's challenges will be to keep all his leading defenders fit, involved and interested. As long as he remains motivated, he could develop into a quality defender, maybe even good enough to play at Premier League level.
carterfox90 Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 morrison is a great prospect & had a great first season with us & as someone said earlier inthe post he may well be our new steve walsh who could be at the heart of our defense for years to come i was very impressed
Red Leicester Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 People seem to be conveniently forgetting how 'out at sea' he looked when in a centre-back partnership with Hobbs. Morrison benefited from having an experienced head on the pitch in defence, and grew during the season from the input he was getting off the field, but I think we need to calm down before the hyperbole starts. I was thankful that he made a decent fist of right-back when Hobbs was so obviously unable to cope in the position. He made a big step-up without many grand errors, here's hoping he can carry on developing his game but there's others I'd rather see in the starting line-up over him.
