Pictures on Signature

I am trying to change my signature and I want to insert and image from my computer but every time I select 'insert image', I can only enter the url of an internet website and not get one from my computer.

How do I do this?

You have to upload your image to a host site like imageshack or photobucket.

You can only put images from your pc as your avatar provided it's not too big.
