ACF Posted 25 July 2009 Posted 25 July 2009 Right. Looking to replace my 3rd Gen Nano, which was stolen, with an iPod Touch. Going on holiday September time, and NEED my iPod for the travelling and airport. Birthday is in October, but I am going to ask for it earlier. But, the new iPod touch will come out September, with no set release date. Do I wait for the new one to come out, and maybe not getting it because I go away and miss the release date? Or should I just get the 2nd Gen? I need an iPod for the trip, but I don't want to miss out on any new features/upgrades- rumours circulating about a camera, microphone, better WiFi, processor etc. Thanks guys

Or buy one and flog it on ebay when the new one comes out, you'll make a loss but you get best of both worlds.
