pafcfan10 Posted 9 May 2005 Posted 9 May 2005 De Vries - Glad he chose you your keeper - awful kicker McCarthy - in all fairness should have recieved the red card after kicking chaddy and stopping a goalscoring oppertunity when already on a yellow Leicester in general - with a few players no doubt coming in with the summer play off contenders next year Leicester fans - got behind their team very well and had a cool really fat guy take his top off Game in General - Felt like a friendly with no one really trying their hardest apart from akos who tried to hard tried to do that without being biased, isn't that McCarthy player new from city r something? i think you might have to control his temper a little and a great decision by levein to take him off before he got sent off

They prob played each other in a reserves game or something, he does have a temper but it normally takes a little longer to get that wound up.
pafcfan10 Posted 9 May 2005 Author Posted 9 May 2005 yer chadwick seemed to not like him since the start of the match, like you say maybe everton reserves v man city reserves once upon a time? and chadwick has a slight temper as well, wouldnt have been the first player he got wound up enough for a red card offence if McCarthy had seen red
TornadoShaunUK Posted 9 May 2005 Posted 9 May 2005 perhaps its something to do with their manchester connections? didnt Chadwick play for Man U in some form.. reserves or youth or something.. perhaps Paddy was arguing that Man City are infact the better of the two halves anyway - overall, I thought we did ok considering we were trying new things with some young inexperienced players. I thought Plymouth probably deserved to win the match, but if we can get a result in a game we are under the cosh a bit then surely thats something positive, it looks like our defence is certainly suring up.. regarding Hirschfield, I heard he made a few good saves but his kicking was awful,I was told his first five goal kicks went out for throw ins =/ oh dear... I think he would make an ok back up keeper but as someone has said it might be better to search for a different number one.. my personal preference would be stuart taylor if we could get him.. just please dont get rab douglas =/
