Fox in a Box Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 He must be in the frame, a good shot stopper at this level. Pompey are getting rid of some half decent players..and well as a club they must think we have good around facilities. It seems that even the PREM is shaking up now and sooner the player realise that money is no longer about and they cant command massive wages ...the better. No more flash salaries in the championship!
The Man With The Golden Grahams Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 No thanks. 106700 Agreed - we need someone a bit younger. Levein is building a young side and Hislop doesn't fit in with that.
cono Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 not too sure about hislop, he can have his good days and his bad days!
Anish Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 I would prefer someone like Jimmy Walker at West Ham... 106816 He would be a great choice, although I believe he is also the wrong side of 30. As for Hislop, no thanks.

TAFKA Castroneves Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 Jimmy Walker would be a great signing, I remember his performance against Chelsea in the Carling Cup. He was basically unbeatable and pulled of absolutly stunning saves. As for Hislop I haven't rated him recently so I wouldn't go for him.
TrickyTrev Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 I don't want him. It his not his age, I like expereinced keepers and you have to rememebr they can go on into their late 30's at a very high level. It is just that i didn't think he was that good in his prime! Good shot stopper yes but mistake prone too.
