Kingy Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 Matt Piper never really got a chance at Sunderland ?? I know his family still live in Leicester maybe he would be worth looking at ?
Muz Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 Good Talent , Injury Prone we dont want any one else sitting on the sidelines whilst getting paid!
bluefox Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 treatment room fodder, would be good company for Lee Morris. No thanks
shen Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 Seeing as we need a winger, why not? Unless he costs us a big fee of course..
Knighton Matt Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 i imagine piper will be retiring soon so doesn't look a particularly good prospect i'm afraid...
Scow Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 It's a shame as a fully fit Piper would be just what we need. Unfortunately, I don't think he'll be back at that level for a while yet...
Leicesterboi Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 i cant see us getting him but given the chance id snap their hands off. i loved him -- he ripped desailly to shreads at filbert street however he will cost a fair bit aswell. although he is a leicester lad and will show some passion and desire which is what we need to get out of this division.
TrickyTrev Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 Suderland may wipe theirhands clean of him. If they do I would like to see us let him train and pay him expenses, this would give him achance to proove his fitness and put him in pole position to sign him if he were to get back to his best. I would not even consider paying a fee for such a injury hit player. We have had plenty of bad expereinces with the likes of Morria, Wilcox and Eadie.
