Last Year Best X1 Stockdale Gilbert Hobbs Tunch Mattock Gradel/Cleverly Davies/Oakley King Dyer Fryatt Howard This Year Best X1 Weale Morrison/Neilson Hobbs Brown Berner Oakley/ N'Guessan Wellens King Dyer Fryatt Waghorn Not much difference between the two imo. Id say our defence now is signifcantly worse. Our full backs had a bit of pace last year but we are exposed constantly with Neilson/Morrison and McGivern.

Would be nice to have the best combined. Yet again I ask the question 'on what basis can you judge whether or not Gilbert is the better option when he hasn't consistently played at this level?' And Wellens > Oakley is hugely suspicious when Oakley is out of position for most games and Wellens' performances have dropped off quite significantly.
