Edmund Posted 2 March 2010 Posted 2 March 2010 Does anyone remember these? Or used to own one? They didn't quite kick off but there was a stage when it was the in thing. I'm pretty sure I've still got mine somewhere in the back of the garage/loft.
Edmund Posted 2 March 2010 Author Posted 2 March 2010 Oh. Skateboards for those who can't skate properly. They were the nuts at the time. Much more fun and quicker than skateboards. I eventually went down the roller blading route till I had a nasty accident off a ramp.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 Back in the days when i skated my mate used one of these, he was actually awesome though i have a video somewhere of him doing a 540 on the 12ft vert at derby storm skatepark he won shit loads of competitions you're meant to have straps on them though
Fosse Boy Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 A kid at my old primary school had one. He wasn't very good at it so it never caught on. We went back to being obsessed with yoyos/pogs/football stickers etc. shortly after.
Edmund Posted 4 March 2010 Author Posted 4 March 2010 you're meant to have straps on them though Yeah the straps were a must. It was the only way you could stay attached to the board when going off ramps. pogs/football stickers etc. shortly after. Haha, was having a clear out not so long ago and came across a pile of these. Shit loads of swaps. I used to spend dollar on these.
