Salieri Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 In light of the appreciation threads devoted to Nige and the lads, can i just give a small mention to the chairman, who, despite some questionable managerial appointments prior to NP has backed the club as he said he would and is a whisker away from amazingly delivering on his '3 year plan to get us into the Premier League'. He may not be everyones cup of tea, and does seem to have a penchant to 'sticking his oar in' when its maybe not called for, but, he has unearthed a gem in Nigel Pearson and has stood by him and i believe will continue to do so, and if we go up i think he will back him financially to give Nige the best chance possible to keep us up. He is a businessman no doubt, and if we did go up and our stock was to rise accordingly then he may well sell up to another investor, but who could blame him for that and if he leaves us in a healthier position than when he took over, then fair play to the guy. The only thing i would say Milan is : Get that bloody contract sorted out ASAP!
