Benzema is a surprise as I think the French will miss his creative skill. Poor season aside, I think France may regret not taking him. Apart from that, is it really a surprise that Ronaldinho won't feature? He has blown hot and cold too often and rarely impressed at the World Cup in the past. May be an astute decision that one.

It probably isn't. But Diego not making the cut? Dunga opting for just four recognised strikers where Adriano is not one of them? I've spoken to a few Brazilians who all agree that at least a few more players playing in Brazil deserved a place in the squad (Neymar, Sandro, Ganso amongst others), but they're not surprised Dunga hasn't picked them.
