I'm looking to buy in Richmond-Upon-Thames and for the price of a 1 bed flat there I can buy a four bedroom detached cottage in my parent's village. we rented a 2 bed/1box semi detached ex-council in north sheen in 1997 for £1200 a month, can't imagine things have improved... i like richmond, but it does tend to fill up with yobby teenagers...
