Shum Posted 20 May 2005 Posted 20 May 2005 ... had a game of cricket against another family we know tonight. 7-a-side, indoor cricket, 14 overs per side. Shum won the toss and elected to field, but bein out of practice our team bowled an amazing 29 extras! Anyway, they scored 131 off 14 overs. Shum opens the batting along with cousin, and quickly sees 3 wickets fall in the 1st over! Doh! Anyway we rallied and Shum scored 38, and eventually we finished on 127-5, a great effort to be fair and a cracking night out! Re-match very soon!

C-man Posted 21 May 2005 Posted 21 May 2005 I had a game today actually, on abbey park. A pitch inspection before the game gave us the oppurtunity to play, which we took against the league leaders We bowled them out for a low total of 57, then when our openers were walking out to bat, the storm came and thunder, lightning and heavy rain forced the match to be abandoned.

I played for my school team a few years ago used to play cricket a lot and i was arguably the best batsmen for them my mates reckoned i was and the coach told leicestershire cricket and i got a trial for leicestershire didnt get a letter back though so i spose they didnt think i was good enough
