flanimal Posted 3 October 2010 Posted 3 October 2010 Sven may have a bit of a dodgy reputation, but when you consider some of the players he's managed - most recently the likes of Didier Drogba, you have to give him some credit. From what I remember Drogba liked Sven quite a bit. It was pretty much a mission impossible getting Ivory Coast out of that group anyway. He crap with Mexico, but I don't know anything about what went on there.
Svenalike Posted 3 October 2010 Posted 3 October 2010 If you judge him on every club he has managed, there is every reason to suggest he will take this club to heart and want to win every game. Man City fans wanted him to stay and Ivory Coast fans and the Federation wanted him to say. You wont go wrong my Leicester City new freinds ;o) Not forgetting two threatened strikes by England players in Sven's support and the massive "Save Our Sven" campaign they launched in the Spring of 2006? Sven has NEVER left a club worse of than he found it. Even with the impossible and mega-xenophobic "El Tri" in Mexico.
Suffolk_fox Posted 3 October 2010 Posted 3 October 2010 Wait - Scott Gunnel - Sven Goran.... Is he Sven in disguise???
Lillehamring Posted 3 October 2010 Posted 3 October 2010 No offence but my dog could make a better looking website than that. And I don't even have a dog. there's probably a dog wandering around berlin looking for an owner... might have slight nazi tendencies though.
unreachable Posted 3 October 2010 Posted 3 October 2010 I didn't want to start another Sven thread. New Leicester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson tells BBC Radio 5 live's John Inverdale the club has the kind of setup required to be successful, and hopes to turn the Foxes' fortunes around "sooner rather than later" after signing a two-year contract. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/leicester_city/9055734.stm Turning into a media frenzy. Time to enjoy the anticipation!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 3 October 2010 Posted 3 October 2010 I also agree, There are dimwits and nitwits gobbing off in negative fashion, just for the sake of it. Why pick on posters who are trying to contribute innocently and positively.

Drogba publicly said he and the team wanted Sven to stay. Sven can turn things around quickly which he did with England in 2001 and with Ivory in 2010.
