Extension / Conservatory

In the process of buying a new house. However, we want to build a conservatory and/or extension to the kitchen as soon as possible to give us a little bit more room. Anyone on here know of any builders or have had conservatories/extensions built?? How much should I be paying??

We've got about £7k to play about with but could be tempted to pay upto £10k for a really good value for money job. I understand that I won't be able to get both done but just would like to know what people recommend out of the two options.....

Any advice will be appreciated...

New Kitchen can add 10-15% value to your home and conservatory only 5%. Some good advice on improvements and extensions here
