For a young man he’s the most mature midfielder I’ve seen at City for a few seasons. Twice the player of any of the Winks, Skipp brigade. So composed, great range of passing, and if not for a few interceptions last night he could have had 3-4 killer passes to his name. So pleased we have turned down Utd and invested in him. Assuming no leavers there’s plenty of choice between Page, Alves, Braybrook, Hamza, and Skipp. You can fashion that in to a 3, a 2, a diamond, plenty of possibilities.

There is next to no money available. Don’t expect any signings of any note. The brief for this year is clearly a “blend” of youth and experienced Championship level players (debatable) is enough to win promotion and we will look to secure investment on the back of being top 3 by Christmas. I would say this is the last roll of the dice for the club. If we are outside of Top 6 by Christmas I genuinely fear for our existence.

I get the anger levelled at the team, the board, Top and JR but the b*llocks aimed at the fans that are attending is just low.
