South Africa & FC Twente striker Bernard Parker on trial at Leicester City

FC Twente striker Bernard Parker has joined Leicester City on trial.

The South African, who has scored 10 times in 30 appearances for his country, has been recommended by former TRZ manager Johan Eriksson, whose father, Sven-Goran, coaches the Foxes.

The 24-year-old left TRZ to join Polish giants Red Star Belgrade, but then left them because of a financial crisis at the club and returned home.

He then moved to FC Twente in Holland where he has seen very little game time with the Dutch champions this season.

Parker and two Nigerian trialists, Danny Uchechi and Paul Obiefule, will feature in a reserve game
