Matt Posted 1 June 2005 Posted 1 June 2005 Dion cousin of car boy - The SunTHE critically ill birthday boy whose mum’s overloaded car crashed  killing three of his pals  is the cousin of football star Dion Dublin. Soccer mad Anton Dublin, 13,  who is fighting for his life  idolises the Leicester City striker. Anton had trials at Reading FC and was also approached by Arsenal a week before the crash. But on Sunday he was in a car driven by his nurse mother Angela, 45, with SIX pals when it ploughed into oncoming traffic near Oxford. The crash happened after the lads had been paintballing for Anton’s 13th birthday. Three of his pals  Liam Hastings, Marshall Haynes, and Joshua Bartlett, all 13  were killed. Engineering student Howard Hillsdon, 21, also died when Angela Dublin hit his car head-on. Angela and the surviving boys are all critical. Cops are waiting to quiz her about whether the lads had seatbelts.

Guest Posted 2 June 2005 Posted 2 June 2005 You have to ask why she had so many in a 5 seater car though. This would surely be a contributing factor in this incident.
CasinoGee Posted 2 June 2005 Posted 2 June 2005 shock to me aswell.......howard hillsdon my mum reckons is related to me. 118466[/snapback] Ohhhh, so you're not someone who donates hills?
Leicesterboi Posted 2 June 2005 Posted 2 June 2005 The little boy is a nifty footballer by all accounts had Reading trials and as you say Arseanl were chasing him so its a massive shame if his dream is shattered by something like this. Atleast he lived though.
shelly Posted 2 June 2005 Posted 2 June 2005 I agree with Lisa. Surely overcrowding the car wouldn't have helped.
Random Burglar Posted 2 June 2005 Posted 2 June 2005 unfortunately no....i am not a person who donates hills
