foxoffderby Posted 7 February 2011 Posted 7 February 2011 Guys I've just bought a new laptop, but can't view anything through Flash Player. The message says Flash player 10.1 is not available with your 64 bit web browser. I've tried to follow the instructions on how to install a 32 bit version but its not worked. Can somebody please advise what Im doing wrong and give me some simple instructions on how to install this. Do I need to remove my current browser first? Quite desperate as I need it for my sons school work thanks
Jackirius Posted 7 February 2011 Posted 7 February 2011 What are you currently using? If you are on Internet explorer, try using Google Chrome or Firefox, might do it.
chrisfox Posted 7 February 2011 Posted 7 February 2011 If you are using Internet Explorer I think there are 2 versions installed on a 64 bit machine. The default one (the one the shortcut points to) is the 64 bit version. Open your C: drive and you'll see "Program files (X86)" AND "Program files", (x86) is the one for 64 bit programs. if you open the normal Program Files you'll see an Internet Explorer folder. Try making a new shortcut from iexplore, and see if that one works. If not try the one in X86 I'm going from memory but i think this is how i did it!
