Hinckleyan Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 Hi all,Went to Market Harborough today and bought a programme from 1962/63 season versus West Ham (well worth a quid!).Anyway inside it was a three and a half inch square red piece of card emblazoned with the club crest in silver in the middle. The top left corner has '1966',the top right 'D/D' again and in between them 'No.999' again all in silver. In black writing on the card is L.C.F.C. CO. LTD.,it also contains lines for both a name and address (they are blank) and the bottom left bears the signature of E.Plumley, the secretary at the time.Underneath that are the words 'THIS IS A RED CARD'. Anyone any idea what it is? All help gratefully recieved. Best of luck for the rest of the season. Ta.

If you don't get any success on here, let us know & we can see if club historian John Hutchinson knows
Alexikokopops Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 Probably best to take a picture of it too
Zingari Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 i remember Eddie Plumley was club secretary , and it sounds a little bit like one of the vouchers that were issued at unspecified random matches throughout the season to determine who got FA cup final or semi final tickets after season ticket holders etc if you'd got one of these vouchers you'd have a greater chance of getting a ticket and the club usually dished them out at less glamorous games to encourage bigger crowds ( or possibly reward the fans who were at these games) i'm really not sure if this is what you've got though
