Collymore Posted 3 June 2005 Posted 3 June 2005 Both Paddy McCarthy and Alan Sheehan have been named in the starting line up for the Republic of Ireland's under 21 UEFA Championship qualification clash against Israel tonight (Friday). Left-back Sheehan, who made his senior Leicester debut in their final game of the season against Plymouth, is handed his first start for Don Given's side as the youngsters go in search of a much needed victory. McCarthy (pictured) has been a regular for the under 21 international line up and was included in the full Ireland squad for their recent friendly against Celtic. The game takes place at Flancare Park (kick off 6:00pm).
