Austin Posted 24 May 2011 Posted 24 May 2011 After a fair few posted in the "METAL" thread .. I wondered if anyone was going from here? Line up's awesome and I genuinely cannot wait to see the big 4! Praying there's no bad clashes
Part Of The Crowd Posted 25 May 2011 Posted 25 May 2011 I will be if I get the job there working bar (Still unconfirmed). I'd definitely earmark going to see Periphery and Protest The Hero, two really good new bands from America, both with an element of prog to it. Periphery have a Meshuggah like feel at times and Protest are pretty unique. Both put on a terrific live show. Also, earmark In Flames as it's their first festival appearance without their original guitarist (With the new one) and they'll have just released their new album, which sounds to be a corker.

I like in flames alot! And Protest the hero are quality. Never heard of periphery though .. Ill check them out if there's not another band on that I want to see
Part Of The Crowd Posted 25 May 2011 Posted 25 May 2011 Good man, really just see as many bands as you can, it's a terrific line up and I'm a bit miffed the only way I can get there is by working.
Austin Posted 25 May 2011 Author Posted 25 May 2011 I've always gone Download instead but Sonisphere's line up is irresistable this year! Can't wait! If you get there I'd like a BOGOF on beer!
Part Of The Crowd Posted 25 May 2011 Posted 25 May 2011 I usually go to Wacken and had already bought a ticket for that (Ending my festival funds) and Soni's line up was so good I had to at least try to get in. If you're served by a barman in a Marshall's Don's shirt, that'll be me.
