harryboi72 Posted 23 December 2011 Posted 23 December 2011 Basically my friend asked me to download skype,i followed the instructions on the website but when i downloaded it,it said C:\Users\my name\Downloads\SkypeSetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application.any help appreciated

harryboi72 Posted 24 December 2011 Author Posted 24 December 2011 It wont run setup after downloading. And im not the best at computer stuff and i dont know how you download 32 bit or 64 bit,i just downloaded it off the website
DB11 Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 Download it again : http://www.skype.com/go/getskype Try clicking 'Run' instead of 'Save' and see if it installs straight from it. Or save it to your desktop, or somewhere, and try to install it again. It may just be that the download has been corrupted.
