city4lyf Posted 6 January 2012 Share Posted 6 January 2012 I like many City fans will be driving down. Just wondering if any of you have an idea of where you will park?
steveherbe Posted 6 January 2012 Share Posted 6 January 2012 South of the ground for us, around Patrick Road area. Looks to be 'urban' and some street parking. Mind you, if you nick my space I wont be amused!
Yojoe36 Posted 6 January 2012 Share Posted 6 January 2012 Traffic will be horrendous with thousands of City fans traveling down the M1 and the A453. I suppose actual parking spaces won't be as bad, as they'll be no forest fans. There's the secondary car park for the train station near the Hooters bar. It's usually empty
The Year Of The Fox Posted 6 January 2012 Share Posted 6 January 2012 Just be aware some of the streets this side of Trent Bridge are dodgy. Fine to park on without clamping risks etc, but the bloke who parked behind us last time had his BMW keyed down all sides. Can't remember the street name I'm afraid
Red_Dog Posted 6 January 2012 Share Posted 6 January 2012 http://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/page/TravelAndParkingDetail/0,,10308~1744953,00.html Yep the local residents dont like not being able to get in/out of their drives etc.. Even home fans get tyres let down, wing mirrors knocked etc.. Best to stick to the Council House Parking or if coming in on the A453 there is a 1000 space park and ride (Queens drive) about £4 a car which drops off outside the train station and then its 15-20min walk from there.. or if you are feeling fit walk straight along the side of the Trent from the Park and Ride (about 40 mins walk) http://www.nottingha...hx?id=24243&p=
FoxyLouby Posted 6 January 2012 Share Posted 6 January 2012 I parked behind the Notts County ground in the Cattle Market in August. Was £5 and not to much of a walk to the ground. I'll be heading for there again.
