Guest parky0607 Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 st ledger, danns and beckford were the stand out players for me
dpjfox Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 Kasper 6 hes not been his brilliant best in the past couple of games Pelts 6 average defensively and going forward, but didnt really get skinned against decent wingers SSL 7 pretty solid IMO apart from his slip for the 2nd goal Morgan 6.5 Despite a few slagging him i thought he did ok Konch 8 seemed to be on the ball a lot, always looking to go forward played well Drinkwater 6 seemed to be too crowded in first half 433 Wellens 6 didnt do much Danns7 good first half but faded Dyer 6 looked like he could be a danger but then didnt get involved enough Nugent 7 very bright start but faded Beckford 8 MOTM not jusy for his goals , his constant movement off the ball worried them Marshall 7 20 seconds it took him to put over a great crossfor a goal Shlupp NA Bamba NA
Dan Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 Schmeichel - 6. Can't particularly blame him for the goals although maybe could've done better with the first, not seen the goals again though. Peltier - 6. Thought he had a half-decent game, not too bad. St Ledger - 4. Thought he was probably the weak link, Bednar did him for the second goal and he didn't look comfortable at all. Morgan - 5. Meh. Not a lot to comment on. Konchesky - 6. Positive as ever but didn't really get majorly involved. Danns - 7. Good display from him, passing looked improved. Drinkwater - 7. Not the finished article, but he's actually a pretty skillful, tricky player, as well as a quick ball-mover, I'm liking the lad. Wellens - 7. Thought he had a good game. Typical Leicester fans in the crowd, Wellens plays a lovely ball for Dyer, Dyer nearly gets there, they sing Dyer's name. Wellens makes a poor pass, straight on his back. I'm 100% adamant some of our "fans" actually want certain players to fail. Dyer - 5. Largely ineffective for me. Nugent - 7. Quiet, but scored, so gets a 7 as a result of the goal. Beckford - 8. Still tries to be too cocky at times but that's the Beckford we want, 4 in his last two league games without standing out, that's a goalscorers style. Impressive. Subs; Marshall - 7. Got an assist with a superb cross within seconds of coming on. Give this lad a chance, he made a similarly slow start for the Owls apparently, a bit of confidence (which he surely has now) and he'll be laughing. Bamba - N/A Schlupp - N/A
Dan Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 Their first could've been prevented, pathetic marking and Schmeichel could've done better. Again, their 3rd, marking? Pathetic. Utterly pathetic. However Drinkwater can move up to an 8, I thought his performance was good but two assists on top of that as well (I did know that I just completely forgot) is very impressive. I'd happily see the same XI start v Hull, only with maybe Marshall in for Dyer.
