Fans who boo and give our players abuse

Are you absolutely mental? How the fvck do you know if he's doing his best or not? Can you read his mind? Can you tell how tired he is?

Let's use a simply analogy. I buy your product or service. I don't think you've done your best in make that product or service. This DOESN'T mean I can abuse you, swear at you or even boo you in your place of work, does it? If you say yes, please tell me where you work so we can come and try my theory.

These players aren't doing a public service, they're doing a bloody job.

How tired he is ! your having a fooking laugh. Spare me the analogy , football is neither a product or a service is it . It is entertainment and if I buy a ticket to be entertained and the entertainer can't be bothered well he can expect flack for it . I'm not saying I shout abuse at players individually but I have no qualms letting them know when they have let us down through lack of effort and so should everyone else.

Guess where the plug goes lol

In cars ?

So...footballers (human beings) don't get tired? Being tired doesn't impair performance? Whatever... Barely worth dignifying you.

If you want to be entertained, go to the fvcking cinema. You can boo your sad little heart out to the latest Hollywood product. You might have bought into the 'Sky' ideology of football being a show, but it really, really isn't.

Yes because Gallagher is a new player who hasnt yet played so we cant judge him. Does the slate get wiped clean after every match?

So you go to every game with the pre-meditated intent of booing Gallagher if he plays?

You don't boo your own player before they've gone on the pitch. He does his best, so whether you like him or not, booing him is wrong no matter how much you pay to get in. We're supposed to support the team, the clue's in the name.

Sorry that sounds like applauding mediocrity.

your very aggressive which is a clear sign you can't control your temper which also imply's you are juvenile. And judging by the way you worry about a male getting tired slightly gay. :P :P :P :P :P

Dont make this about me. I dont boo players but not because I think its wrong. The ball is in Gallaghers court, he controls whether the fans like him or not.

You might be onto something there. Generally with other products you get satisfaction or money back guarantees. This could be great. Andy King does **** all for 90 minutes, rather than boo, I get my money back? I would definitely go for that.

Oh and for the record, for £20k a week not only can you boo me, you can take a big steaming crap on my desk too if you want. Get your friends round to do the same because quite frankly, for that kind of money, I reckon I could put up with just about anything.

Gallagher obv isn't one of the most popular players but I really think the recent stick he's been getting is out of order.

He's a player that seems to be the type of player that people should like. Since he was signed he's been played out wide which isnt his preferred position but has never complained about it, he scores a decent amount of goals from that position, provides the odd moment of brilliance, always seems to put in the effort (and I mean effort not productivity. Whether his productivity is acceptable is another matter but he always looks for the ball and tries to get things going. Whether or not the quality is there is not the issue.) so not sure why he gets the stick.

He shirks challenges but so does Dyer (who's crossing and goal scoring record is miles worse than Gally) and King (who when isn't scoring really doesnt offer anything at all) but neither of those are subject to the boo boys?

I concede that he's not good enough a player if we are seriously going to challenge for promotion, but neither are many others in the team which is the most frustrating thing about the fans this season. Kasper aside, there is not a single member of the team that has shown any kind of consistent form this season yet only a select few are subject to the shitstorm.

I wish I could agree with you and generally I think you are correct, if a player puts in the effort the fans generally stay off their backs but that doesnt seem to be the case with Gallagher. In a lot of peoples eyes it seems like he really cant do enough.
