Scow Posted 19 August 2004 Posted 19 August 2004 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~554118,00.html However, will either he or Williams be dropped in favour of Gudjonnson? Or will Micky persist with having no ball winner in midfield....
Sparky Posted 19 August 2004 Posted 19 August 2004 i would like to see joey start , although nalis has started well i would persist with williams for the time being
Guest freund Posted 19 August 2004 Posted 19 August 2004 are there any songs for nalis? surely one should be made up
Guest freund Posted 19 August 2004 Posted 19 August 2004 Nalis Nalis who the f**k is Nalis. 13134[/snapback] nice
Ricey Posted 19 August 2004 Posted 19 August 2004 Williams hasn't impressed me at all, I think Nalis is a better option. So I would play Nalis and Gudjonsson, bringing on Williams when Nalis gets knackered. Nalis has proved to me this season that his goal against Leeds was no fluke, he really does have a belting shot on him.
Ash Posted 19 August 2004 Posted 19 August 2004 I rate Gudjonnson over Nalis anyday ,I feel nalis just runs around like a headless chicken and does do much ,apart from give the ball away alot

Gudjonsson hasn't played properly for us yet so it's impossible to say he is a better option than Nalis. Nalis creates a lot of oppurtunities because he is a great passer and can score goals.

Although Nalis and Williams are better in terms of creativity, first of all we need to get our house in order in terms of having a some grit in there, and a Williams/Nalis partnership doesn't offer that.
DesertFox Posted 20 August 2004 Posted 20 August 2004 It makes no sense signing a decent ball winner and not playing him. So Joey should be in to mix it up a bit, and on current form I'd play Nalis with him. Might be exactly what Williams needs, a reminder he's not an automatic choice. Could do him the world of good.
