Guest CL Blue Army Posted 10 July 2005 Posted 10 July 2005 Leicester City 16 year old South African Akhil Valjee has been issued a profesional contract on his birthday. He is a defender who was recruited by Leicester's Scout whilst playing for Wigston Youth last year. He has been compared as a younger version of Spencer Prior, with his aerial ability and his unique passing. Craig Levein is beleived to have said that he is waiting for Akhil to progress until the age of 19 before he gives him a first team run out. If this is true which I believe it is, as it is from a reputable source, it is good bringin in young players to help in the future stabability of Leicester.
