Davies Issues Rally Cry

Recommended Posts

Leicester City chief executive Tim Davies has issued a rallying cry to supporters ahead of Monday night's glamorous pre-season clash against Inter Milan at the Walkers Stadium (7:45pm).

The game was postponed at the request of the visitors on Saturday morning, but a u-turn by the Italian giants means that the friendly will now go ahead as scheduled after all.

And Davies is now hoping that fans will turn up in their thousands to cheer on the Foxes against Roberto Mancini's side.

He said: "We have worked extremely hard over the last 48-hours to ensure that the game goes ahead as planned.

"Inter are one of the biggest sides in Europe, if not the world, and I am sure our supporters will be eager to see them take on Leicester now that the on/off saga has been resolved.

"Tickets will be on sale throughout the day at the Walkers Stadium ticket office, and we would urge fans to snap them up as soon as possible to avoid congestion on the night of the game."

Never in the field of footballing conflict has so much been owed, by so many to so few.

We will fight them in the car park. We will fight them in the changing rooms. We will fight them in the tunnel. We will never let a bunch of cowering pansies beat us.

Is that the sort of rallying call you meant?
