I've written a 22,500 word Dissertation in my dim and distant.

That took some doing. Enjoyed it though to be fair.

Looking forward to writing my diss in about 18 months.

Wrote a couple of short stories for children some thirty years ago, but never tried to get them published. When my son was small, he used to bring his friends round and have me read them aloud. The kids seemed to enjoy them. ("George the Dragon", and "The Magic Wishing Well") 

 

Writing a poem at the moment about a First World War soldier, on the Somme.
