ADK Posted 6 October 2013 Posted 6 October 2013 I think they are. "has tastes that are considered vulgar by some"
FoxesAreBlue Posted 6 October 2013 Posted 6 October 2013 An example of one please? Pictures? Is a football hooligan a chav because he wears Stone Island or Buberry? Or is a chav someone like Vicky Pollard. No I don't. I was just putting that up as it's what I found when doing a quick google. It appears to be a subjective term anyway. An individual who yourself and I my deem as chav may not see themselves as such but may look upon others in that way instead.
Rincewind Posted 6 October 2013 Author Posted 6 October 2013 I think it would be derogation to call someone a chav just because they are working class. At one time working class were respected and stuck together. now it seems a dirty word. There are too many 9-5ers about.
