LCFC Rennie Posted 26 May 2014 Share Posted 26 May 2014 I wouldn't bother going, it will just be screaming little girls and their mums because One Direction are there. Looks like a complete disaster. The only way it would slightly amuse me would be if Piers Morgan broke his leg or something.
davieG Posted 26 May 2014 Share Posted 26 May 2014 Police and football bosses in Leicester are appealing to fans heading for One Direction star Niall Horan’s charity football match today to plan their journeys. The boy-band star will be joined by band mates Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne at the football game, along with a host of celebrity friends. Parents and other drivers intending to drop off friends and relatives at the King Power Stadium ahead of the 3pm kick-off, and collect them afterwards, are particularly being asked to think carefully about their travel arrangements. Chief Superintendent Geoff Feavyour, match commander for Leicestershire police, said a large number of visitors from outside the area could cause complications. “This isn’t like a normal football match at Leicester City, where most people have well established travel plans,†he said. “There will be a lot of strangers to the area. “Traffic will be heavy and Raw Dykes Road will be closed for quite a while before the match and then again afterwards.†He added: “It isn't realistic to expect to be able to drop people outside the stadium and then pick them up again afterwards – 10,000 car drivers will have had the same idea.†For travel advice and further information visit: www.lcfc.com Read more: http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Traffic-warning-Direction-football-match-King/story-21143243-detail/story.html#ixzz32oXznO5SRead more at http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Traffic-warning-Direction-football-match-King/story-21143243-detail/story.html#jYSz17vL63PjYoQu.99 Read more: http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Traffic-warning-Direction-football-match-King/story-21143243-detail/story.html#ixzz32oXrWqLSRead more at http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Traffic-warning-Direction-football-match-King/story-21143243-detail/story.html#jYSz17vL63PjYoQu.
