C-man Posted 6 June 2014 Posted 6 June 2014 Anyone read this book by Kuper and Szymanski? There's a bit of a Clough love-in at the start but once you get through that it's thoroughly decent. I'm only 7/8 chapters through but have to admit it's already done a lot to change a lot of my views on football finance. Helps that I read economics at University so I'm familiar with the majority of analyses they make and theories they draw upon but it's not overly complicated for those that aren't keen economists or econometrists.

bmt Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 Currently enjoying this at the moment. I study economics too and work for opta so it's right up my street. Really enjoyed the penalty chapter.
