promised land Posted 16 August 2014 Share Posted 16 August 2014 Avoid Freemans common if you want to get away fairly quickly, the one and only time I parked on there was a midweek game a few seasons ago so no way near as busy as today, still sat there for an hour waiting to get out. The trouble is no one lets people in the two queues leaving so the cars in the car parks nearest the exits just sit there. Sometimes it's worth parking a good 20 minute walk away to avoid the queues leaving the car parks. When it's a sell out I'd be more inclined to use a city centre car park and just walk into town after the game and drive away. Or one of the park and rides as they're about £4 I think for a car.
