doverfox Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 I think he was spot on about Pearce. i am in many ways glad that Walsh or Elliot or any other of our great ex-players have been given their big break with us. what has he done in football management and no dont mention that part-time job he had as under 21 manager that even made Peter Taylor look like he could be a football manager. The development and coaching of those players is done by the clubs. The is no risk in signing players as if they turn out to be carp then you just don't pick them for the squad again club managers don't have that luxury. is being able to just motivate not enough in the long term, but you have to be able to build a managemant team around, and take advice
