dandannieldanok Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 They've just beaten Rangers 2-1 Craig Leveins first game in charge
dandannieldanok Posted 5 November 2006 Author Posted 5 November 2006 Begginers luck. :pinch: Shame that luck evaded him at Leicester
Muz Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 Shame that luck evaded him at Leicester He won his 1st game in charge for us did'nt he 3-0 vs Covscum?
dandannieldanok Posted 5 November 2006 Author Posted 5 November 2006 He won his 1st game in charge for us did'nt he 3-0 vs Covscum? You may be right but I thought it was 2-2 with Crewe (away)
lookwhaticando Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 He won his 1st game in charge for us did'nt he 3-0 vs Covscum? 'e was in the stands for the 3-0 win over Cov wasn't he?
dandannieldanok Posted 5 November 2006 Author Posted 5 November 2006 'e was in the stands for the 3-0 win over Cov wasn't he? Can't have been because the period when Bassett took temporary charge we drew all of the games.
marko Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 Well done Craig, although it will probably be short lived success if his tenure down here is anything to go buy. I wonder if he wants to re-sign Rab and De Vries, it's the least he could do surely. Just to confirm; CL first game in charge was away at Crewe when we drew 2-2 with Pieman Pressman making a howler for the equaliser, his first game at the walkers was 3-0 against Cov. And just for the records he was in the stands away at Ninian Park when we drew 0-0 with Cardiff. Oh I almost forgot, Rangers aren't even that good Mr Chrisshaw.
lookwhaticando Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 His record in Scotland is better than that down here, he should be fine. He could always invest in January if he needs a boost, Ste Hughes and Mo Sylla would be ideal for the Scottish league.

Thracian Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 Good luck to the guy but there's a world of difference between English and Scottish League football as CL found out.
Terry the Terror Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 Good luck to the guy but there's a world of difference between English and Scottish League football as CL found out. True. The SPL has a wider range of abilities, from mid to low Prem all the way down to 2nd div/conference standard. All in the one league!
Terry the Terror Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 We could have a chance in winning the SPL. I dont think you'd beat Celtic. You'd have a good chance of finishing second because Rangers are not playing well at the moment.

The Hoops have been having patches too recently... the Aberdeen and Hearts games spring to mind. Not to mention losing to Falkirk in the League Cup (then again the Huns lost to St. Johnstone :D - pisser!)
